Job Title: Technical Operations Associate- Property Casualty (Full-time)

Worksite location: 148 Lafayette Street, Floor 3, New York, NY 10013

Job Description:

• Assist with designing and optimizing workflows for data collection, document review, risk evaluation, and other insurance underwriting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Help monitor underwriting performance metrics and identify automation opportunities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Insurance, Development, AI) and other stakeholders to develop standardized underwriting procedures and create clear operating documentation.

• Provide underwriting knowledge and experience to support product development and system configuration.

• Participate in team meetings to ensure project alignment and progress.

• Prepare and manage regulatory filings, including Surplus Lines Tax, ensuring compliance with governing underwriting regulations and document retention standards.

• Track and document regulatory requirements and maintain audit readiness. Support testing and validation of underwriting systems and rule implementations.

• Analyze data to inform underwriting decisions and support customer engagements.

• Perform other similar underwriting-related tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Must have at least an Associate's Degree in Insurance, or a related field, or the foreign equivalent as determined by a qualified foreign education credentials evaluator. Must have at least six months of prior full-time experience as a commercial property insurance underwriter, or a similar related field.

Compensation: $110,000/ yr
